Mussini

LoVette
That's a good foundation for the New York City franchise. Where did Mullin pull this guys out of? How many were lavin commits?

Still think it's Marquette. Henry Ellenson, Hanif Cheatem, and Traci Carter have been better than expectations

Jalen Brunson has been as good as advertised and Mikal bridges is real solid for nova.
Sumner is awesome for Xavier too.
League is looking good

Lavin was in on Yakwe, Mussini, and Lovett, but new staff came in and closed the deal on all 3 big time players. Sima and Ellison were not recruited by previous staff and Sima might be the best under the radar find in the country.

Gotta factor in usage and playing time. Obviously SJU has a higher usage of their freshmen than pretty much anybody. Great win today though.

I think Matt Heldt will eventually be a key part of this class for Marquette. He's not ready for PT yet, and a in a perfect world could redshirt this season, but in time will be a very nice big for the program.

The fact that we have so many good freshmen classes is a great sign for the future of the league.

St John's fans should thank Diamond Stone. Sima was considered a lock for Maryland and everyone knew it. When Diamond Stone, the McDonald's all American, committed to Maryland, Sima wanted to go elsewhere and SJU pounced. Boy were we fortunate.

As long as they stick it out, I believe that both Kaiser Gates and Makinde London will be key for Xavier as upperclassmen. Not many minutes ahead of Reynolds, Farr, and Bluiett right now, but they could be those starting frontcourt players in a couple of years.
