DePaul is preferred over Dayton (it's official)

It's a tough question.
DePaul has the chicago market. DePaul is terrible, but they still have a little brand recognition. Depaul has the new arena.
Dayton has little brand recognition, a mediocre history, a minor league market that we already have covered with one of our power teams. But dayton has been okay recently. Dayton actually has fans who still care about the program. Dayton has a nice home court arena. Dayton clearly has a better run athletic department.
I think I still lean towards depaul. But only because DePaul has the new arena and Dayton still has that mid-major feel to them. But other than that, dayton is better.
Btw, his poll I only intended for fans of the 9 real big east teams. No Dayton trolls or depaul apologists please. I want to see the real opinion of the teams in the conference.

DePaul doesn't have it's own market. Illinois lost the market. They played UIC at the United Center and had a bit over 5,000. It wasn't too long ago Illinois would get 16,000 at the United Center.

We don't need doormats in the conference but we need 3-4 rebuilding teams each year....If this becomes the NFC East and all teams are .500 it will not go well for multiple bids....
Just look at DePaul as in year 20 of their rebuilding effort.

Nova,
First, you are a complete idiot. The Big East is not going to kick out DePaul and bring in Dayton.
You may want to focus on the other 9 GREAT Big East teams this season because there is a chance that DePaul might not win another game this season. That is a prediction from a DePaul so no need to pretend like you understand DePaul's program situation.
Layoff your hatred. You need some hobbies.

We went 6-1 in the games yesterday that matter the most. Be happy for that. DePaul will likely be a doormat and lose 15 games during BE play. Yeah if they go off and win 8-9 conference games then they become a liability to the league but I don't see that happening.
I do agree that DePaul needs a serious kick in the ass and the AD needs to go. But we don't need threads calling them out every time they lose. It's completely unrealistic to expect the BE presidents to kick DePaul out after 2 years and a month.

No offense but DePaul has been in the BE for a generation.....and they had an equal vote to let the other three in.....
