Big East teams are media darlings.... From last week's print version. Hard knock life of growing up the son of a NBA player.

Great read. I don't know, his dad's behavior sounds a little too much. But then again, I have never known an elite athlete personally so maybe it takes someone with that kind of discipline to live that life.

Either way, sounds like a good kid and can't wait to see him vs X.

I enjoyed reading that. The BE is certainly on SI's radar. Check this out.

Awesome Kris Dunn photo. More print issue press!

I actually still get the print issue. Never read it though. Comes as a gift. But if they cover the big east more, I sure will.

Media darlings!

This is exactly the type of coverage the league needs. Highlight our starts and draw positive attention to the program and the conference. The major benefit the Big East has, is for basketball recruits there is no football team. Basketball players are the stars on campus and don't have to share the spotlight, or play second fiddle to football players as can happen on other campuses. Obviously, we don't have the huge campuses as some of the giant state schools, but it's still nice to be the hottest thing on campus. It's nice for potential recruits to see the kind of attention and love they can get in a basketball only league.
