Western Illinois is the team that won at Wisconsin a couple weeks ago and so far have been shooting the 3 ball very well. Jays need to take them seriously.
Seton Hall needs to win this game if they want an at-large resume...

was just looking at last year compared to this year. VERY similar.
Last year- conference had only 12 losses in Nov. But then in Dec had 18 losses(30 total before conference play started). Losses @ Tennessee, Tulsa, St Mary's, @ North Texas, 6 DePaul losses, Brown, @ Georgia, @ Auburn.
this year- conference has only 13 losses.
Days like this to me are huge. Creighton/Western Illinois and Seton Hall/Georgia are big.

My bad. Looks like we were posting around the same time.

3 cupcakes and a big one for the Hall. All four big east teams favorite, so could go 4-0
Hoyas v Bryant at noon (hoyas -25)
A bunch of random letters v Butler at 5:00 (butler -26)
The main event at 7:30, Hall v Georgia. (Hall -2)
Creighton v western Illinois at 8:00. (Jays -9)
Western Illinois looks respectable. Could be a test for Creighton. But in Omaha and Creighton playing well, I would be disappointed
do not know much abut this georia team. Most preseason projections have them middle of the pack .500 team in the SEC. Kenpom has them in the 50's. They have only played 3 games, lost to Chattanooga, had an ugly 49-46 win against high point. Beat Murray state by 11.
This is the type of team that seton hall needs to beat if they want to be the conference's sixth team in the dance.
I'm still bullish on seton hall. That sophomore class is as good as any in the nation. They have experience at this point. They had a bad first half against long beach and could not recover, but otherwise they have been fine. They win today's and they remain on tourney track. Lose today and we start thinking maybe they are better suited for the nit with a shot at dancing next year

Will finally get a look at Seton Hall in person this season. Desi Rodriguez has impressed this season.

Big game for Seton Hall although Georgia did not look impressive against High Point so I like the Hall's chances.

Solid win by Georgetown to get the ball rolling. I know they weren't a particularly good team but a 30 point win is always nice.

Looks like a turkey hangover for BU... Up by only one at the half.

BU up by 16 with just over 9 to go. Finally started to play hard... Don't know what the hell this team needs to come out of the tunnel and play hard, but they need to figure it out.
