I would not overlook Illinois. They played nova tough recently until nova pulled away.
Kris Dunn has a bit of a supporting cast, but not much. But neither did Bryce Cotton.
Conference looking for its second national player of the year in three years. Let's go Kris!

Illinois has had some injuries.

Illinois lost to a cupcake and barely beat North Dakota State. Hopefully Providence can beat them or I think it will be a bad loss.

I agree, we need to win this.
I thought of another key to the game... we have to hit our layups. Layups... sounds ridiculous, but we must miss 5 bunnies a game.

In Illinois' defense, North Florida and North Dakota St are both good low-mid-majors.
Still, Providence has to win this game. Illinois has been unable to defend the 3 so far. Its first 2 opponents took a ton of 3s and made a ton of 3s.
