Monday night in beautiful crystal clear HD on national television, two of our teams from the Big East, top to bottom the most exciting and competitive conference in America, will tip off... in beautiful crystal clear HD...

UMBC at St John's, 7pm on FS1.
IUPUI at Marquette, 9pm on FS1.

I really enjoyed watching Chris Mullin's first game. Young talented team. A new coach with an outstanding demeanor and presence of the Johnnies' sideline. Keep an eye on Sima, a real talent, but especially Christian Jones. Mullin carries himself like a Hall of Famer... doesn't get rattled, loves to coach and teach the game, his players adore him, fans are crazy about him, no drama, no panic, trusts his players and allows them to make mistakes to let them grow. And as a Big East fan i love watching one of our teams as it builds itself back up.

Marquette was one of our BE teams that i didn't get a chance to see play yet. Really looking forward to seeing Henry Ellenson in beautiful high-definition, who put up 21 and 16 in his first game. My kids also have been curious to see this future NBA Lottery pick.

UMBC played Wake Forest tough, hopefully the Johnnies can pull it off.

IUPUI got an upset win at Indiana State this weekend. They're probably pretty confident going into this game. Hopefully, Marquette won't overlook them.

Definitely a little worried about SJU-UMBC.

We really can't afford to lose either of these games.

Marquette should win. St John's I don't know. It'll be tough. I really enjoyed the Wagner game. This team is learning and is young, so we will we take a lot of losses this season. But watching the freshmen develop and watching our legend Chris Mullin coach was a great time friday night. Hopefully we can go 2-0 going into the Rutgers game.

Hopefully we can win these games we should win on paper. I know they gave Wake a scare on friday but I think (hope) that the shellacking we took against STAC has these kids ready to not take ANYONE lightly. Go Johnnies!!!

It's great living in LA and being able to DVR all the games and watching them when I get home in beautiful High Definition and listening to Grade A announcers call games that in the past would be relegated to SNY if they were lucky to be aired at all.

I hear that. I'm out in some off the grid town on a rural island in the pacific and I can watch the johnnies play against UMBC? Heck, for the decade I actually lived in NYC I don't think I had access to these type of St. John's games.

Thanks again to Fox Sports!!!

Both BE games tonight being broadcast on national tv, in glorious HD, meanwhile the 3 AAC games tonight are relegated to underwhelming internet streams via ESPN3. But they're in a much, much better situation according to some people. Much less money and much less access = much, much better situation.
