Fire JT3?

I can't think of a more under performing program than Georgetown under JT3. His teams regularly play uninspired and aren't playing anywhere near what their talent and physical skills show they could.
So question to GTown fans, when is it enough to can JT3? He seems like a flat out bad coach. Nepotism has ruined a many business and I don't see why basketball teams would be any different.

Approaching the 10 year anniversary of his final four run..
He has put a lot of guys in the NBA, and has had some solid regular seasons. Can't get too upset over some of the early exits. Losing to steph curry, or losing to Shaka smart's breakout team, or a Florida gulf coast team that just found an amazing chemistry in March. It happens.
The head scratchers are when they just seem to under perform against bad teams like last night. And when is the last time they had a real strong out of conference effort that turned heads? The win against Florida last year was nice perception wise (Florida ultimately finished below .500), but otherwise it seems more likely they will lose to a northeastern or radford than beat a ranked team out of conference over the past few years.
A big thing though is he seems to,run his program the right way. His kids don't come off as punks, he has a certain type of player that fits his system and he seems to be able to land those 6-7 to 6-11 forwards/centers that make people think of Jeff green, Otto porter and Greg Monroe. He seems to have a solid philosophy/identity that every program needs over the long run.
As long as he is able to sell recruits in his ability to put big men in the NBA then that program will be fine. But I join the group anxiously awaiting the Hoyas to bring some national credibility to the new big east. Last night was frustrating.

What is this "last night" you speak of?

Thank you for the insightful comment.
Am I correct that you were kicked off UC's message board for being so obnoxious? Let that sink in, your own fanbase doesn't want you.

Hasn't John Thompson made the final four mush more recently than the 1980's?

Speaking of nick van ex'ed and the days where the cincinatti thugginses were respectable, did you know his son recently got hit with a 60 year sentence for murdering his friend? I am sure the life lessons thugginses gave van excel in developing him as a man went a long way in helping nick be a good father and role model for his murderer son.

Way too early in the year to have this discussion. An entire season is still to be played.

This game sucked. Beat Maryland and you're far ahead of where you would have been having beaten these guys and lost to UM.

While the elder John Thompson is still alive and well, there is no way JT3 is going anywhere.
