Not necessarily guys who are going to bust out to all American status, but guys who sat the bench or played limited roles last year but could becomes a part of their team's regular rotation and contribute, or guys who played small roles last yr but will be relied on more heavily this year.

For Villanova, two guys to watch for are Darryl Reynolds and mikal bridges.
Prior to the pace game I thought Reynolds would be the bigger contributor, but it looks like bridges got more opportunity.
Bridges is a 6-7 lanky red shirt frosh. He was a top 100 recruit, so it wasn't a case of him not being highly regarded for the red shirt. The thought was that he was not quite strong enough to be a real part of the 2014-2015 rotation so would rather have him for 2018-2019 season. I could see him playing the top of the 1-2-1-1 3/4 court trap press that nova plays (Hilliard's role last yr or as the fourth man back. A long defender who could interchange with josh hart defensively. Still real skinny. He played 19 minutes against Pace and scored ten points. Hit 2 of his three 3 pt attempts, so looks like he will be an option on the kick out to perimeter shot. Also had 4 two pt attempts but I'm not sure if those were rebound put backs fast break lay ups, or if he created something offensively inside the arc.
Also, I know it is kind of cheesy as he is a red shirt frosh, but don't be surprised if bridges joins Brunson, Ellison and council on the conference all frosh team.

I thought Reynolds was going to be a breakout player, but I'm not so sure now. He was not as highly regarded a recruit as bridges, and he has looked raw in the past, but he is the second biggest guy in the team and has some athleticism, so as a jr I thought he might step up. I think he is still in project mode now though.

Of course josh hart is the type of player who could break out from 6th man if the year to all conference type player.

For PC it starts and ends with Rodney Bullock. Whoever got him in their fantasy draft will probably be happy.

Word is that the 6' 8" Steve Novak clone Ryan Fazekas may be more ready to contribute.

Bradley Hayes, Reggie Cameron, and Trey Mourning could all burst onto the scene from little to no playing time last year to legitimate contributors.

The sophomore class could all break out in the other sense of rotation player to All BE players.

isaac copeland seems to be the trendy pick for a guy to bust out as an all conference player this year.

Edmond Sumner for X. Mack compares him to Semaj Christon. Good enough for me.

I think it will be Sandy Cohen for Marquette. Was always an explosive athlete and a top 70 recruit last year and it looks like he added some weight in the off season

One of the cool thing so bout college hoops is how a guy can ride pine for a couple of years but as he gets time as an upper classman can realize his potential.

The best example was the Joakim Noah crew from Florida. Those guys were all sitting behind the veterans for two years and next thing you know they run off back to back titles and first round picks.

Dwayne Anderson was an enormous part of villanova's most recent final four team, and he was a non-factor for the first 2.5 years of his career. Most people thought he was going to transfer after soph yr, and even his jr yr he started off as a non-factor. But once nova hit a slump in January of 2008 he was put into the rotation and the team took off.

Tyler Wideman for Butler. I want to say Tyler Lewis, but I'm not sure he counts.
