If only SMU was eligible for postseason. Hmmmm indeed.

Don't feel like scrounging up all the numbers. But 8 of 10 BE teams were in top 100 and all ten were in top 150.

UC was given a very good rating, we will get to see if they deserved it when they play Butler and Xavier.

I know this was an attempt to troll (a poor one at that), but could you at least choose numbers that work in your favor?

Big East average of top 4: 23
AAC average of top 4: 28.5
Average of all Big East teams: 64
Average of all AAC teams: 109.8 (ouch)

If you only include postseason-eligible teams, the numbers look like this:
Big East average of top 4: 23
AAC average of top 4: 40.5
Average of all Big East teams: 64
Average of all AAC teams: 118.5 (very ouch)

Queue Stever.

Please don't ask a UC fan to make an effective, constructive argument. He isn't equipped to do that, and it leaves you wasting your time.

Besides, he's proud of himself, thinking that post stuck the landing.

It's one thing not to feed the trolls, but it's another to go open season on them when they make idiots of themselves.

nova 14-4 23-6
Georgetown 11-7 20-10
Butler 11-7 19-9
Xavier 11-7 18-10
Marquette 9-9 19-11
Providence 9-9 17-12
Seton Hall 8-10 15-13
Creighton 7-11 16-14
DePaul 6-12 11-17
St Johns 5-13 11-17
(note overall records don't include unknown game 2/3 of exempt tournaments)

Marquette at 9-9 would be really on the bubble with a 19-11 record. Part of it would be the 2nd game in the exempt tournament. My hunch is they would get in with that record....

It's funny- the AAC's records kind of opposite of the Big East.
Cincy 13-5 23-7
SMU 13-5 22-7
UConn 12-6 20-9
Tulsa 11-7 18-9
Memphis 10-8 20-11
Temple 10-8 16-12
Houston 7-11 15-14
UCF 6-12 12-17
USF 6-12 12-19
ECU 6-12 12-17
Tulane 4-14 10-18

Cincy and UConn pretty easily in. Tulsa's fate would hing in large part on rds 2 and 3 of their exempt tourney. Memphis would be interesting with that record. Temple may hinge as well on their 2 games in the exempt tourney. But only 2 really safely in IMO.

You must know nothing about college basketball then. They were a top 25 KenPom team essentially the whole season (once Kennedy became eligibile). After December they only lost 3 games (two to Cincinnati). They bring back the conference
POY and a grad transfer from Texas Tech that figures to be a good replacement for the guy they lost. They lost on a fluke play in the NCAA tournament otherwise they would have been in the Sweet 16. How can a team that loses to double digit seeds every year since 2007 really LOL at anyone? Did you guys even make the tournament last year? I genuinely don't remember.
