Glad to hear that -- I was a little concerned ESPN would shut the Big East out of Maui in future years since the conference bolted for Fox.

Cool, but unless our Johnnies find players who can shoot consistently well and learn how to run plays on offense, then we will be hard pressed to win a game in it.

Creighton is playing in some tourney in Destin, Florida. I do not know who the other participants are or whether it is over Thanksgiving or Christmas.

It seems strange that we don't get asked to the CBE classic in Kansas City. It is right in our backyard and Creighton would probably bring 7,000+ fans to the event.

On Cincinnati.com they posted the Xavier exempt tournaments through 2018:

http://cincinnati.com/blogs/xavier/2013/11/25/exempt-event-refresher/

2013: Battle 4 Atlantis, Bahamas
2014: Old Spice Classic, Florida
2015: Charleston Classic, South Carolina
2016: DirecTV Classic/Wooden Legacy, California
2017: Nike Tournament, Oregon (16-team event honoring Nike co-founder Phil Knight’s 80th birthday)
2018: Maui Invitational, Maui

Looks like some decent vacation opportunities.

Remember hearing a while back that Seton Hall was going someplace very warm next year. So I guess that rules out Alaska.

yeah. I remember back when Alaska used to be a great tourney. Gone way down hill recently. Would love for FS1 to pick it up and funnel some $$$ in there to get great teams to revive the tournament.
