The Big East will be very good and very balanced next year, IMO. Everyone except DePaul & Seton Hall have legit chances to be ranked at some point and more importantly, a chance to go dancing(with good seeds) in March.

In no particular order:

Marquette
Georgetown
Villanova
Butler
Creighton
St. John's
Providence
Xavier

that's a nice top 8

I doubt Butler is a tournament team next season. We will just be too young, and we are lacking a true 5 unless Kam Woods can get to 220. Hopefully I am wrong and the dawgs can make the tourney.

X has some growing to do as well. Got some players coming in that had to take a year off plus some Freshman. I'd be surprised if we are not tourney caliber, but I've tempered my expectations after this past season.

I would be surprised if Xavier doesn't make the Tourney next year. Will they be at the top of the Big East? No, but I think the Big East has a decent number of teams make the tourney next year.

the board seems to be cutting off the link so I can't see the original story. Here is a link that should work for the USA today one:

If Doug does not come back to CU then I don't see how the team that we have coming back will even be able to sniff an NCAA bid. Jays fans will be on pins and needles the next seven to ten days waiting on Doug's decision.

Bad news for Friar fans, according to this link Ledo is going pro, without ever playing for Providence. Tough break for them.
