I think the Boston to DC corridor is a HUGE recruiting area for all of college basketball. Just a hugely dense, and fertile area for HS hoops. That’s one of the reasons why the BE is so well positioned. Daddy Mac could recruit a kid from North Jersey to play in Omaha and still be able to promise his family 5-8 games / year that his parents could easily travel to see in person.

In terms of Nova and a talented PF for 2019 we already nabbed ours in Dixon.

Bryan Antoine
Eatontown, NJ
6'5" 170 lbs. SG
5*, #11 Overall Nationally; #2 SG

Well the conference continues to recruit well. Jay continues to target kids who can defend multiple positions and shoot it from deep (BA shot it at a 40%+ in AAU circuit). It seems like a pretty simple formula. Antoine seems to be able to get to and above the rim fairly easily as well. We're not going to lack players who can play the wing/perimeter spot (Samuels, Swider, Slater, Moore, Bey and Antoine--(5) 4* and (1) 5* wing in 2019.

I think this definitely takes us out of the picture with Lewis, and maybe Mannion as well. I'd die of laughter if we steal Stewart from Duke... lol

Xavier and Marquette both just landed a couple of diamonds in the rough
Xavier with Dieonte Miles
Marquette with Dexter Akanno
Both guys seem to be under the radar types.

Class rankings acording to 247:

#2 Nova
#7 Xavier
#19 Butler
#34 DePaul
#35 Providence
#52 Creighton

1 Five Star
8 Four Stars

Can't find the list I made for the previous 6 years, but this already puts us very close (if not at) some of our worst classes. Being this early on in the process, that's an incredible achievement.

I think this class ends up being our second best, without an outside shot at the best (2014).

Not surprised by this. Marquette can use another Miller scandal. The first one brought Quinerly to Nova
