The headline is that Howard scored 38 points today. The reality is that a lot of those points came when they were down big and he needed 25 shots to get there. 10-25 shooting is not good.

It’s Powell and it’s laughable after watching each this year. If not for Howard Marquette still has the the two brothers. They chose this garbage instead? Lol...

He's certainly been struggling lately Shane right as all the stats had him painted a a real NPOY candidate he fell off the earth now he truly is just chucking. Of course it doesn't help nobody else can make a shot to save their life

I’d take Alexander over either.

Can we have a conversation about why Myles Powell is not POY? These aren’t even All Big East level stats.

If Tyshon outplays Powell on Saturday and Creighton gets the #1 seed, there definitely should be a case for Alexander as BE POY.

As I've pointed out numerous times, his shot hasn't been right since the concussion (he was averaging 40% from 3 prior to it). So he probably shouldn't win it because the shooting efficiency hasn't been there, I'll give the award to Howard. That said, if I had to build a team from scratch around any one player in this league, I'd start with Powell (even the post-concussion version) and it isn't that close.

If we are expanding the candidates then I submit to you Saddiq Bey.
