Lol, right, that's funny.

But I'd rather listen to 24 hours of Bill Walton than 5 minutes of Bilas. At least Walton would be entertaining and he's a legend, and I could learn something. Bilas was a sucky sulky whiny player and does the same thing behind a microphone.

Georgetown now with a really important game tomorrow. with 3 OOC losses already, can't afford to pick up a 4th quite frankly. It's amazing to call game 6 of 31 a must win, but that's pretty close to the case with how tough the Big East is going. After tomorrow looks like only Syracuse would be a chance to get another decent OOC win unless UConn turns it around.

They certainly have to start piling up W's but it's not a must win. They could lose tomorrow and beat Nova, X, CU, Butler and SHU in conference and be in pretty good shape. That's why having a strong conference is so important. If Oregon wins the Pac12, that win could be very big come March.
Go Nova!

Honestly though, is there any reason for Georgetown fans to be optimistic? JT3 has to be the most reliably disappointing coach in america. At this point you should be rooting for Georgetown to tank so they can get rid of him.

it starts to get to be a matter of # of losses though. That would be 4, with a game at Syracuse still on the docket. Lose there and 5 losses OOC. It's not like going 11-7 or 12-6 is going to be a real possibility in conference play. And you never feel good going in front of the committee with 13 or 14 losses.

Yeah this is a pretty fair point. But I don't know what would have to happen for them to tank to get rid of him.

Problem is JT3 isn't going anywhere as long as JT2 is around.

Walton's great unless he is calling a game that your team is playing in.

I know it's Bilas, but he said something about Georgetown during the Wisconsin game that I really agree with. They have lost their intimidation factor. People used to be afraid to play the Hoyas because they were an imposing team and you knew you were going to get beat up physically. They would always out tough people. I think they had a 5-10 point lead before the game started because of the intimidation they brought. That is gone. Look how Wisconsin abused them with rebounding last night. Granted, Wisconsin is a tough rebounding team, but 20-1 on offensive rebounds? That never used to happen with Georgetown. It starts with coaching. I still think that they have the talent to turn this around, but they need to hurry up! They will probably beat Creighton in DC anyway as we haven't ever won there, but they need to start winning more in the noncon.

JT3 isn't going to wake up and start teaching toughness. At this point he is a known commodity. The sooner Georgetown ditches him the better.
