He's not a troll, I've thought so in the past but he's just got a real negative bent. I've been known to be cynical as well so he's got my support. ... We need some actual trolls to play with around here these days  21-14 is a nice lead but let's let the fat lady sing first before we celebrate. Still got 9 games against those dirty football money f-tards.

It's still possible to go under .500. I said that because Butler Gtown DePaul and Marquette would all be underdogs heck even Nova is probably an underdog against Baylor.

Yes, it's still mathematically possible but would require us going 0-9 in our remaining P5 games.

And 1-8 would make it a tie. What would be sweet is to close out the BEAST B12 Batte with Nova winning in Waco and GT beating TCPU ... winning both conference challenges as well as the now almost automatic winning record Vs F5 would be awesome.

Anybody got the total record since the realignment (and since UCONNs returned)? From my recollection we have been ahead every year since realignment. I know Creighton is up by double digits vs the F5...

It was a mere few days ago that some poster predicted that the Big East would for the first time have a losing record against the F5. But really, was it ever in doubt? Although Nova got rolled in Waco by Baylor, The Hall won the Battle of New Jersey and wiped the “Buzzer beater against Purdue” smile off their faces in short order. The Big East clinches a winning record against the F5 and now just looks to add a few more to the win column. Creighton, Butler, DePaul Georgetown and St. John’s with the last opportunities. UConn, Nova, Seton Hall , Marquette, Providence, and Xavier have finished their non-con series with the F5.

In the books:

UCLA 86 - Nova 77 (Loss)
Providence 63 - Wisconsin 58 (Win)
Marquette 67 - Illinois 66 (Win)
Hall 67 - Michigan 65 (Win)
Creighton 77 - Nebraska 69 (Win)
Michigan State 73 - Butler 52 (Loss)
Indiana 76 - St. John’s 74 (Loss)
Xavier 71 - Ohio State 65 (Win)
DePaul 73 - Rutgers 70 (Win)
Marquette 78 - Ole Miss 72 (Win)
Marquette 82 - West Virginia 71 (Win)
Nova 71 - Tennessee 53 (Win)
Purdue 80 - Nova 74 (Loss)
Ohio State 79 - Seton Hall 76 (Loss)
Providence 77 - Northwestern 72 (Win)
Texas A&M 57 - Butler 60 (Loss)
Virginia 58 - Providence 40 (Loss)
UConn 115 - Auburn 109 (Win)
Iowa State 82 - Xavier 70 (Loss)
Seton Hall 62 - Cal 59 (Win)
Michigan State 64 - UConn 60 (Loss)
Xavier 59 - Va Tech 58 (Win)
Providence 72- Texas Tech 68 (Win)
Kansas 95 - St. John’s 75 (Loss)

Wisconsin 89. Marquette 76 (Loss)

I'd be very disappointed if SJU doesn't beat Pitt. They are 3-7 and look terrible. DePaul and NU seems like a toss up to me.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
