Unranked - for just the next few days - Butler takes down #8 Arizona.

11/26: Providence vs. Virginia
11/28: Butler vs. Utah

ACC : 3-1
B1G: 5-7
B XII: 0-1
PAC 12: 3-0
SEC: 4-1

Overall: 15-10

Is this a fun league or what?

Oh and Stever, I'm not the only one keeping track of this F5 thing. From ESPN....

Butler: The Bulldogs received 14 votes in last week's poll, but after knocking off Arizona to remain undefeated, one must wonder if they've done enough to make their first appearance in the Top 25. Three of Butler's six wins have come against Power 5 Conference teams: Northwestern (Big Ten), Vanderbilt (SEC) and Arizona (Pac 12).

Go Big East!

Big East is only 4-7 vs the Big Ten, not 5-7. The only 4 wins were in the Gavitt games.

Jet great thing you did there. to me, that's so much more important than just saying we're whatever vs P5.

Wish we were doing better with the 3 that we're really more commiserate with- ACC, Big Ten, and Big 12. only 7-10 vs those 3.

For anyone who doesn't think P5 is a term used during basketball season:

Stever, Stever, Stever...I guess a Leopard will never change his spots.

Come tourney time will the 2 W's vs. SJU be quality wins? How about the 1 vs. DePaul? Maybe the 2 vs. G'town if they can get their act together? OSU home vs. PC? Expected win at home. Mich vs. Marq? I guess that may be a good win. We'll see but there's a decent chance none of those BE teams may make the tourney.

Against who most believe are the 5 best in the BE (and the most likely to make the tourney) the B1G is 0-4 with with 2 losses coming on their own home floors. Wins against two def tourney teams in Purdue and Wisc and we'll see how NW and Iowa make out. So please spare us the non-sense, unrelenting, Stever back-handed comments about how disappointed we should feel about having a losing record vs the B1G.

We're 3-3 vs the ACC & BIX with those losses coming from PC vs. VA (no shame there), Marq and G'town. Again not the top half of the league (at least as it now seems).

Stop already.

You see, I agree with you that doing blind conference by conference things like this is insane. I mean, St John's vs Michigan St has no bearing on which conference is better between the Big East and Big Ten at all. BUT then again, using Xavier vs Missouri also has no bearing on which conference is better between the Big East and SEC. It's why I much prefer games vs top 50/100 than just a blind conference vs conference mark.

Sure. I'd almost believe you if you hadn't tried to make it seem like we had fallen short against the other 3 leagues. And please enlighten us on how the SEC could possibly be a better conference top to bottom than the BE, regardless of the X vs Mizzou game.
