What’s that about Jays fans? Sour grapes from Mo about the sexual assault allegations that went down? Does he think Mac didn’t have his back enough? I wonder if any current players, in confidence, might have something to say that contradicts the whole “we’re all behind Mac 100%...all for one, one for all” narrative.

What I had noticed even prior to this situation is that Creighton's staff is the least diverse I can recall - perhaps one of the least diverse in the country. Out of the 8 coaches and men's basketball support staff (1 HC, 3 assistants, asst to HC, DBO, video coordinator, and admin specialist) there is 1 Black individual. 1 out of 8 - not a great look.

Look up Len Gordy. He’s been on staff in the past and is now a university employee.

All that matters is how the players and their families feel. If the players come out and say "Well he has done other things that fit this pattern" then fine fire him. But that hasn't happened. Actions mean way more than words. Words matter, but many people are only playing this up to virtue signal and the grifters/hustlers (part of cancel culture mob) just want another head. His words were obviously very stupid, but unintentional. Many people want to tell these players how outraged they should be instead of letting them make up their own minds. Enough...move on.

Anyone have Creighton connections that can tap into what the team, alums, community feels should be done?

On twitter former players are arguing with each other families of players even Michael Carter Williams chimed in (brother of Zegarowski). Our message board is like a soap opera, unfortunately it feels like the beginning of the end of what was a great era of Creighton basketball. Have a feeling a complete reset is coming, feel so sick as a fan.

Great Era? The past 7 years we had a one-and-done and one shared three way tie for first.... regular season, which in this league apparently is meaningless.

If he loses his job over this, it will be so stupid. The cancel culture mob only gets more power for every scalp they collect. This would just be another casualty. The players already spoke...they want him to be coach. The families want him to be coach. That's the end of it. This guy is literally getting accused of thought crimes. 1984 is now reality. Hope I'm not the only one calling out this cancel culture BS. More people need to grow a pair and speak up. It may not be popular, but it's the right thing to do.

Which is better than any era we've had before. Even with the postseason failures Mac has brought us to new heights as a program.
