Hart traveled a couple of times but even Raf pointed out that Hart isn't traveling even when it looks like he is. He has the pivot foot planted, there is just a lot of movement that makes it seem like he is traveling.

Good game by Butler. Would love to make it to Hinkle one of these days.

HICKORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a game!!

Post games thoughts:

- josh hart is the classiest player in the conference. No, strike that. Classiest player in the entire nation!! You gotta have heart!
- mikal bridges is THE BEST freshman in the conference. Henry and jalen are good, mikal is better. Truth.
- nova is so much better when they work the paint rather than spread and chuck. Really glad they are realizing this fact.
- butler is such a fantastic addition to this conference. The team plays with great core fundamentals and plays so hard. Their venue is as cool as it gets. Their fans are passionate. What a fun game and great test. I remember the days when a Sunday afternoon might feature a game against rutgers or usf. These are better days.

Nova's bench beat BU tonight by having more guys that they can send out there when the refs start going foul happy. That and BU seemed to have used up all their good shooting early in the year. 3-15 from 3 and a lot of them were open, just didn't hit them. The D for Nova kept the 2 point shots down and missing the front end of 3 1 and 1 and tip your hat to Nova again!
Man can Hart light it up when he gets going! :x

So now you are back settling for the school you quit on a decade ago after that mighty state school fired you?

I know, don't talk bad about depaul because we are supposed to bury our heads in the sand about them.....

DePaul was in ConferenceUSA back then. Has anyone from CUSA every won a National Championship? (That's a serious question)

Maybe he felt it was impossible to compete at the highest level at the CUSA. Big East is entirely different beast and has a much higher ceiling...

Louisville and marquette both made the final four out of c-usa at that time, and cincy was in the final four a few years earlier. Meanwhile UVA was a mess when he went there.

No, not national championships, but when you realize the big ten only has one title since the 1980's that's kind of a high bar.

Doubt it. You don't drop eight spots going 1-1, especially when your loss is against a top 15 team.

Cool. thanks for the insight. I have little knowledge of CBB prior to 2008. LOL

so I guess C-USA was solid back then? If Louisville and MU were both on it that's huge

C-usa had some surging teams that were doing well. That's why when we added them a decade ago the conference got better.

As opposed to Virginia which was a cellar dweller in the top heavy aCC at that time.
