Nice game Creighton. As for Seton Hall, sometimes a team just has a day when everything they chuck in the general direction of the basket finds its way down and there's nothing you can do about it. The Hall certainly played extremely poorly, but Creighton's hot shooting didn't help. Just throw out the tape and get ready for the next one.

I wouldn't go that far, a broken clock is always right twice a day.

Mo Watson might not be Kris Dunn, but his impact on the game is just as important. He's had his best two games this week which is a good sign as he builds confidence and learns how to lead the Jays.

I'm impressed with his play. I thought he played little bit out of control early in the year but he has played well so far in BE. even against Nova he kept his team in the game with his scoring. he makes creighton a legit tourny team. quick penetrating guard can give any team trouble.

I tip my hat to Creighton. It was very well prepared and coached. Creighton displayed far more effort; this was not close. Seton Hall had better get its act together or it will be in trouble fast.

So why was Whitehead riding pine the last 13 minutes of the game? I'm sure his posse won't be too happy the events of today. I sense another Seton Hall implosion coming from those outside the program influencing those that are within...

Good road win...every road win is a good one. As for "broken clocks" we can revisit the subject should the Bluejays win their next 2 games. I do not understand sitting 2 of your top players when the game was still winnable, but coaches know what they are doing - have good reasons for their actions.

I'll take the W.

It was nice not seeing Sterling Gibbs on the other sideline this season, ready to crush our hopes.
Seton Hall is still a tourney-capable team, but they have a tough stretch upcoming. I expect the rematch in Omaha to be more competitive. Creighton has at least six very winnable games, but is capable of more. We're playing the role Xavier did last year, sneaking into the mix with possibly an 18 to 20 win season.

Go Bluejays!

Glad you cleared that up for me, Stever. My bad.

Shoot, I think Creighton has a VERY viable way to the tourney. They have 12 wins right now. 3-1 in conference play. They have 3 left with St John's and DePaul. That sweep gets them to 15. They need to get 5 wins from PC, Butler, Georgetown, Seton Hall, Nova, Xavier, Marquette, Butler, Marquette, PC, Xavier. That's 11 games. That seems quite possible. I know RPI forecast says 60, but I think KP would be favorable at that point. Might need a win in what would be a 3/6 or 4/5 to cement the spot though.

Our Kenpom right now is 41.

Should we go 11-7 it would almost have to continue to surge. The question would be, would that be enough to offset an uglier RPI?
