Every X fan has to admit that shot clock violation on Fischer was BS they waited like 4seconds before calling that jump ball and started the shot clock before the ball was even in Lukes hands.
Also JP macura has a very punchable face.
I was astounded that the officials waited so long also since it seemed like they were giving the Marquette player an overly long chance to finally tie up the ball. I assumed that X would call a time out to assure that possession. Instead, the tie-up gave the ball to Marquette. There was only 1 second on the clock on the throw in. They ruled the Marquette player failed to get the shot off in time.
As far as officials having ca$h on the game for Xavier (as claimed by another MU fan on this thread) --- I think most Muskie fans would claim the opposite (if they were stupid enough to make such a comment at all).
You can disparage JP Macura all you want as an opposing fan, but we Xavier fans love the kid. He has icewater in his veins at crunch time (as you MU fans witnessed today). And he has improved his defensive skills remarkably over his freshman year last season. We are rejoicing in the knowledge that we will have JP for another 2 years after this one.
