Nove trailed with just a couple of minutes to play in the 1st half, but had a nice run at the end to take a 38-31 lead at the break.

That's nova's style. Stagnant starts, mediocre half court offense, but then you blink and they go on a 10-0 run mainly from turning the other teams over.

That is part of the problem when they play better teams. They aren't a heavy weight toe to toe type fighter. They are more rope a dope, dodge some bullets, and then catch a flurry when they see a weakness. But the better teams don't show the weakness every time.

The S16 is great, no question there. But if you are going to ask another fan base that question you should also consider what your own answer may be.

Georgia State last year was a huge win for X and the conference. Kind of like when Scottie led nova over Siena in 2008.

Rj Hunter was a fantastic talent and Georgia state was a good win.

X also beat Alabama, Missouri, Cincy and ole miss last year. And Tennessee, Cincy, Alabama and wake the first year out of conference.

Xavier has been pulling their weight.

And Friday night was an awesome road win against a ranked team, so if you view that as their biggest big east win is that really a bad thing?

Another reminder of how great Fox Sports has been. ?!

Exactly. Fox treats the big east with respect. You turn on ESPN and it's just an ACC love fest with back handed compliments for everyone else. Stever can't see this though, because he hearts ESPN so much.

SHU over ole miss by 12. Not that beating an SEC team, besides Kentucky, is anything worth bragging about but it's a F5 win.

Great win Hall. We were underdogs in 3 out of 4 games today but now we know we'll win at least 2 today (assuming Nova holds on- up 21 with 10 minutes left).

Tough loss by Georgetown but if Butler wins it'd be a pretty great day overall.

They made he tournament last year. Not sure this year's prospects but seems like it could be a top 50 win.
