Quad 1 but also the fact they were only 17-14 vs D1 and also the poor road record hurt.

Overall record means something. Only 4 19 win teams made the tourney at large... No teams with fewer than 4 wins over .500 made the tourney.

LET'S GO! 4 for the Big East in a very down year. AAC left out of the power 6 talk is just the cherry on top. Last team in, never in doubt.

St. John's really needs to win that first game. After trashing ASU, and the Pac12, a loss there would sting, and instead of making the middle of our league look strong and deep, it would make it look like we had a bunch of mediocre teams beating each other up. ASU is terrible, can't lose to them.Other than that, I like how the bubble worked out. Much better seeing Temple, and Belmont in, as opposed to NC St., and TCU.

Ja morant and Murray state was one of the teams I thought could pull an upset maybe blow a higher seed out... Figures we get matched up with them. Morant will go for 30 easily howard cannot guard him.

I love this whole Power 6 narrative.

Typo? Stever? Was it a CBS graphics department mistake?

We've already come out ahead:

1. 4 bids in a "down" Year.

2. Power 6.

3. Some intriguing matchups.

WOOOHOOO!!!! Man, that was stressful. Got really concerned seeing teams like Temple and Belmont make it.

I am loving this as I've specifically called out NC State and TCU's weak scheduling, but Mark Turgeon's gotta be happy to see Temple/Belmont over those mediocre power 6 teams.

In typical SJU fashion, nothing is easy. Last region. Bottom bracket. Just so glad to be invited to the party!

Congrats! As soon as Belmont and Temple were announced, I got less confident, but figured that we were probably gonna have to wait for the west region.
