Whew, almost let that one get away. Howard's incredible - went out with a vintage performance despite the loss. I was rooting for him to hit 40 at the end, without flipping the result of course.

I remember reading the PC board back in December when Friar fans were sooooooooooooooooo over Pipkins. Congrats on the turnaround. Can't wait to play in a conference where you have many opportunities to rebuild your resume after a poor start.

Good job to UConn too. Short handed beatdown of ECU. I watched a couple minutes of the game before MU-Hall started. Their arena doesn't look bad, just empty. I happened over to their wikipedia page out of curiosity and saw they only have 2 NCAA appearances all time (1972, 1993). Yikes.

If Xavier and Butler win this weekend, we will have a 3-way tie for 5th, but 4th will be hard to catch up to for any of them after the Providence win. If they both win, Georgetown will also be unlikely to finish above 8th.

If both lose, though, Georgetown has a chance to break out of the Wednesday night games. A win over Xavier at the very least gives them a good chance for 7th.

I can not f'ing believe that But-wa gets spared further embarrassment by not having to deal with Paul Reed.

You got one delivered on a velvet pillow and you know it. That said, the whole game was un-watchable. SJU will beat you senseless playing like that.
