Wait, which Hurley are we talking about?
I'm assuming Bobby?
[EDIT-- yes it's Bobby... that would be a great get. Nice if it happens.]

Has anyone dialed Billy Donovan's number?

Also the fact there's been complete silence on a replacement for Matt A. makes me think something is up. I think the smart money says CM isn't the coach next year.

mullin not being able to comment on losing his assistant because he was "talking with the AD about the state of the program" definitely doesn't make me think the rumors are unfounded

The ending to this season might end up being the best case scenario after all.

1. Make the NCAAT
2. Get a new coach

It seemed we would get either one or the other (or even worse, neither), but now looks like we may get both.

Apparently someone posted Cameron Mack has asked for his release. Juco transfer.

Michael Kay confirmed this and said 2 sources told him the Mullin rumor and he trusts them. For those of you not in NYC area, Michael Kay is about as big as you get in NY sports media. He's big. Things are heating up. Let's hope we do the smart thing and get Hurley.

Hurley would leave UCONN for St. John's? Or is there another Hurley we are talking about (I know about the ASU one)....

The ASU one (Bobby Hurley) is who we're talking about.

Please be true. This would be a HUGE upgrade in every way.

Hurley has done a good job with ASU, bringing the team up to respectability and has a good core returning. All that work for nothing, just to return to NY/NJ area? Probably for similar money to his ASU salary? Naw, he'd stay put.

Unconfirmed sources say Bobby likes the desert.
