They all pale in comparison to the kid DePaul has on the end of it’s bench. He’s my favorite walk on ever. Wait til you guys catch that dude. In a class by himself.

Yeah, that dude is annoying, not only does he look funny, he's like doing jumping jacks during every play.

Meanwhile PC has injuries and they play injured and do well. Wtf do we have the Mets training staff?

I had that same feeling briefly when Foster went down yesterday, I was thinking Mo Watson all over again, season can change in an instant.....

Just want to add that I was very impressed by Creighton last night. If you told me before the game that they'd only shoot 20% from three, I'd have picked Seton Hall in a laugher. The Jays were much more competitive attacking the paint and on the boards than I expected them to be. When I think Jays basketball I think fast paced, great ball movement, and raining threes. They didn't have the threes last night, but made up for it with surprising success battling down low. Krampelj looks like a heck of player for you guys and he really got the better of Delgado in the first half. Angel took control of that battle in the second half (as I'd expect him to and that's no disrespect to Krampelj), and that played a large role in turning the game. When you can take away one of a team's best weapons and they still go into the final minutes with a chance to beat a strong opponent- especially on the road - that's a damn good team.

The Jays will unfortunately fall out of the rankings on Monday because that's how the polls work, but make no mistake, this is (or at least has the potential to be) one of the 25 best teams in the country. I expect they'll be back in sooner rather than later. See you again in a few weeks Jays - hopefully we'll get another good one.

the passing by Creighton was so good last night. Really impressed with that. The one on the break where the guy on the wing hit the cutting player on the break early 2nd was a thing of beauty.

wtf happened to our improved def?
We'll be giving up 90+ at home to PC, how sad.

The competition matters....

Please, we didn't give up 90 to ASU who is MUCH better than PC. Sometimes a team gets hot. Cartwright couldn't hit anything with Ponds on him. Once Ponds got hurt PC went off. This is what Cooley was talking about with his teams inconsistency. No way they shoot like that for even half the games in conference play. Tip your hat and get 'em next time.

Is this Hoopers first fire the staff post of the season?

Yeah, and ASU shot significantly better than SJU's season average as well in that game, although not as good as PC did last night.

ASU also scored 17 more than SJU season average. I wouldn't hold that game out as your example.

Sorry, I don’t buy that providence just “got hot” and that’s why they won.

They clearly had a game plan coming in, patience on offense, swing the ball, an open 3 will come

This is Mullin and staffs third year. They’ve played Jalen Lindsey 4 times. I’m sure watched him on film much more than that. Everyone knows his game. He’s a spot up three point shooter.

It’s inexcusbale that he found himself wide open with no one around him 8-9 times last night from 3.

Diallo isn’t a great 3 point shooter, but he’s a D1 guard playing at the big east level, leave him wide open, yea he’s gonna hit a couple.

Cartwright hit a couple wild shots from deep last night. Tough. But if you think they just got hot and the defense wasn’t major trash last night, well SHU putting 100 on us might change your mind

Agree. The definition of HOT is Indiana St against Indiana this year 17-26 from 3

You can never tell if a team is good at something until conference play when the competition & familiarity gets higher.

The Friars have the 2nd best 3pt shooting % in the conference and have had some outstanding games from 3.

9/10 against SLU
10/18 vs BC

Cartwright/Lindsey/Jackson are all over 50% for the season and White is at 47%

The shocking thing is leaving Lindsey open. He's averaged about 7PPG over his career and averages 13PPG against SJU. For his career, he's hit 38% of his 3s and 49% vs SJU.

He has been a Redmen killer the last 3 years.
