Auburn, who is more highly rated in KenPom than St. John's lost to a D2 team. The 2010 Syracuse team lost to LeMoyne College before the season began and that team wound up with a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

I actually didn't see this game as a gimme for St Johns

Let's see who Georgetown finishes ahead because "certain teams" aren't that good (these are the teams he "feels" the Hoyas could finish ahead, folks: Depaul, Butler, St. John's, Marquette, and Creighton). You talked trash about Providence early last season, only to get swept. You don't ever learn, big mouth. The past two seasons should've taught you lesson, but I see it hasn't. I think you'll be absent on this board, similarly to last season, during most of the college hoops months.

It's good to have you around and run your mouth. You always end up eating your words (along, with ducking and hiding), and I'll be there, per usual, to make sure you choke on those words.

Lol stalk much? Going onto a different board and quoting me.

I said essentially that if we are better than expectations those were the teams that I think we have any chance of catching.

I also said there was a good chance we were terrible, and finished behind all of them. I'm just saying I think there's a big gap between the top 4: Nova, Seton Hall, Xavier, Providence and everyone else.

I wasn't talking shit about anyone on this thread or on this board this year. You're the one starting shit. All I did is post the result of an exhibition game involving a Big East team in the appropriate thread. Just cause you're salty you lost doesn't mean you need to take swipes at me.

Of course I'm always optimistic about my team and underestimate other teams. Cooley owned JTIII. They always out worked us. It's a new coach and a new day. Providence probably beats us both times this year, but I hope Ewing gets us back on even ground in the series going forward.

Stalk? I've told you before, you're not that important. No stalking, fella. I occasionally go to other conference teams message boards. I saw your post, and felt I should let the brethren know about you running your mouth. You may say, you're not talking trash, but it's passive-aggressive. You also said more than what you claimed to have said.

If you think I'm salty about a sporting event, then you don't know me (which, I already knew in the first place). Far from salty. I just like to call you out for always viewing things through rose-colored glasses and making exaggerated points. Actually, the salty one would be you. You avoid this site like the plague when Georgetown loses. I'm typically here, regardless.

You're not a bad person. You're just clueless and like to say outlandish things, per small samples or no samples at all. I don't have any problem reminding you of such, either.

Wow. Ready for conference games. Enough of the niceties.

Geeeezus! Just when I thought it was safe to crawl out of my hole... Better tuck tail and skeedattle back into my burrow or my ass will be on fire next!

What a tough crowd out here. Dangerfield would get no respect in these parts.

Fortunately my stash of Blue Juice is sufficient for a few more months...just in case. I'll peek outside on the 10th (Jays game) to see if it's safe to come out again.
These BE boards are some tough sledding grounds indeed. gtmo

Hoyahooligan came in here last year saying he sees no reason why we should be nice to each other, emphasizing such an attitude by telling anyone within earshot that 'We're baaaaaack!' after GU beat some clown team the first game.

Then they lost to Ark St and I'm not sure I saw him again for the rest of the season. Maybe once or twice.

I'd take anything said by him with a grain of salt. Knowing him he's counting the days until Ewing gets it together he can resume being insufferable to one and all.

+1

I reminded him after his "We're baaaaaack" quote to allow things to play out and not take much out of that particular win. He was practically MIA from this board last season and probably half of the '15-'16 season. He claims what he does isn't trash talking. If it's not trash talking, it's passive-aggressive behavior. It's all good, though. I like to rib him because I know he'll do more ducking and hiding than a fugitive.

I could be wrong, but I have a hunch he'll play "Casper" again this season.
