Hopefully, SJU has some early season jitters. Because woof.

I think the Johnnies saw my post. Playing much better now.

I don't know what it is but something about this St. John's team is so fun to watch.

Butler - Big win vs D2 team
Creighton - Big win vs Missouri
DePaul - Big loss vs Minnesota
Georgetown - ???
Marquette - Close win vs Dayton
Nova - ???
Providence - Close win vs Canada basketball school
Seton Hall - loss to Penn State
St. Johns - ???
Xavier - Easy win vs Georgia

I'm trying to figure out if you mistyped it or honestly just don't know. PC was up by over 23 points when they put their walk-ons in and they won by 18, hardly a close win. In fact Carleton was 12-0 in their last 12 exhibitions, have won 11 of the last 13 Canadian NC's including the last 5. The team is loaded with 5th year players and has recent wins over Wisconsin, Baylor, Memphis and a 25 point blowout of Wichita State this summer. PC was expected to lose easily to them.

No disrespect intended. I know Carleton is legit, I didn't write anything to the contrary. My only info was one tweet with PC trailing around the half then the final tweet that they won.

Nova played Pitt on Sunday. No word on score, but I expect we won (esp since it's their new coach's first "game").

Michigan St. only beat Saginaw Valley State by 10 points last night. They are preseason #4 in Division II. Saturday will be a good test for Butler.

We play tomorrow at 7pm. Does anyone else play before then? I'm seriously itching for some basketball.
