I think Georgetown is in a lot more than is being spoken about in this thread. G'Town was mentioned several times in The Sopranos as a school Meadow wanted to get into and Mrs. Soprano basically threatens a woman to write Meadow a recommendation there. Also, in the movie, "The Girl Next Door", which came out about a decade ago, starring Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert, which was actually an entertaining movie, the main kid ends up going to Georgetown and I am pretty sure the final scene was shot on campus.

And finally, unless I missed it, SHAME ON EVERYBODY for not mentioning St. Elmo's Fire. 80's classic movie with an 80's class soundtrack.

How old are you guys? Classic 80's film with brat pack members Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, and Ally Sheedy. That is pure Americana right there. Even if you don't like the movie, you are completely missing the point of it, it is a symbol of American culture during a specific time in our history. I mean for God's sake Rob Lowe plays the sax in this movie......THE SAX. Nothing cooler than a guy who could wail on the sax during the 80's.

It is like the movie Clueless or American Pie. Even if you don't like these movies, you have to appreciate that every kid growing up during the 90's is going to watch these movies for the rest of their lives and experience nostalgia. That is the point of these movies. DAMMIT!

Death wears a Providence College hoodie in the Family Guy.
Also, not the best time to mention it but at the time it was a big deal. Bill Cosby wore a Providence sweatshirt for the last episode of the Cosby Show

If you could, you'd anger a lot of Marquette fans. Despite it being "That 70s Show" there is a sign/poster in the background of the scenes set at MU that says something like "Welcome to Marquette University: Home of the Golden Eagles." Not exactly historically accurate. That episode did feature these gems, though:

Eric Forman: There's my favorite co-ed, you all ready to go?
Donna Pinciotti: I can't go, my Dad's making me go to Marquette. He says it's a better school because it's private. Oh, and because it sounds French.
Eric Forman: Well, if it's a better school I should go too, right Dad?
Reginald "Red" Forman: No. State schools are cheap. That's where you belong.
Eric Forman: Can't you take out a second mortgage on the house?
Reginald "Red" Forman: [Red and Hyde laugh] Not for you, dumbass.

Donna: This is stupid. I mean, why am I looking at a school I don't even wanna go to? I should've gone to U.W. with Eric. And I should've laughed at his jokes. You know, I bet those sluts at U.W. will laugh at them. Sluts.
Jackie: (aghast) Wait, U.W. has sluts?
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

If You Could See What I Hear is actually a pretty nice little movie. I mean, it's Marc Singer so it's not terribly well acted.....sort of like a GREAT made for TV level movie. The upper right hand corner picture though...does make one wonder what was going on. Looks like a lot of fun, though.
