Speaking of Tim Welsh, I am not surprised you met him in a bar, that guy liked to get out. I was at Peter Dillon's one night, and he was at the bar. I was on a date so I didn't really get a chance to speak with him, but at one point he asks the bartender if they have food, which they didn't, Welsh than goes out to the street, gets a bag of peanuts, comes back in, and continues to drink at the bar while eating his bag of peanuts. He was not bothering anybody or anything, but I wasn't the only person who found it to be humorous.
Apparently my friends used to see the guy "legless" at bars up in Newport when he was at Providence, not to mention I have friends who live in a town around Hofstra, and when he took that job, he had already made a name for himself in a couple of bars there.
I am sure he is a good guy, and believe me, I am no saint, but he certainly has a reputation for liking the sauce a little too much.

Sometimes I wonder whether Chris Mullin or Greg St. Jean is the head coach of St. John's.

Goodman is an idiot. Who for some unknown reason loves to bash St. John's this year. Maybe Mullin banged his wife or something?
