Damn, Nova fans can be harsh... geez

It's the insecurity.

I see the main culprits for the last shit storm trashing Nova thread are back at it.

ecasado didn't you say in that thread, after you derailed it with multiple trolling posts within the first 2 hours, that this board needs more pissing matches? Why yes you did(pg. 8). If you're going to act like a typical UConvict fan, I'm going to treat you like one.

Yeah, Nova is sooooo insecure about all the success that St. John's has had recently or anytime with the last couple of decades. More like you guys are completely and utterly jealous.

can a Nova fan really have a pissing match with a fan of a program that has won 4 nat. championships since 1999?

Villanova actually owes me a big one. as crazy as it sounds I had them as Nat champions in 2014. l was totally sold on them. That's when I quickly learned never to betray my team...Connecticut went on to rip Nova apart and everyone else. there I was with a busted bracket thanks to YMCA Nova and my Connecticut Huskies with a 4th National Championship.

lets leave it at that

It is confirmed the Villanova vs. PC game will be moved to Sunday at 1pm. If other fans can keep us posted if your games are moved that would be great. Was looking forward to sitting on my couch all day Saturday watching hoops in the blizzard, so I am hoping other games will not be impacted.

Gotta figure X rebounds at home against Seton Hall and can/will Nova finally get beat? I'm saying not at home especially after last night's Seton Hall scare. G'Town has their friendly non-con bout with UConn and you gotta think Marquette can avoid being the team to give up the first conference win to another defeated team in St. John's. DePaul is off. So to me the really intriguing game is Butler at Creighton. A Jays win puts them in a nice spot and really buries Butler in the standings. It should be a great one with a lot on on the line

If things break as talked about above and if Creighton finally gets one against a decent team at home standings could look like...
1. Nova 8-0
2. X, Creighton, G'Town 5-2
5. Providence 4-3
6. Seton Hall 3-4
7. Marquette 3-5
8. Butler 2-5
9. DePaul 1-6
10. St. John's 0-7

In reality, things would be shaping up to pretty much what was picked for pre-season with the exception of a complete swap of Butler and Creighton.

Butler still hasn't lost to anyone not named Nova, X, or Providence, all ranked in the Top 16 in the country. Until they do, I can't see moving them out of that Top 4 spot. But Creighton hasn't either, making Saturday night's game very interesting.

what a coincidence...there was 1 guy back in the preseason... gitgo, citgo, getmo...something along that ilk. He was the crazy outcast from the Creighton boards - predicting very similar things and speaking poorly about the Bulldogs. Of course the predetermined Big 4, which was picked by board experts was a lock - so most here and on other boards bashed the poor guy to death. Haven't heard a peep from him since. Citmo, gitmo, something along that line. Whoever he is, he's a sports and college hoops genius. I certainly hope he writes a book someday to educate and enlighten the rest of us.

It is WAY too early to talk smack, Gtmo. Wait until March to make the scoreboard call.

Like I said, typical UConvict Dbag troll, at least you're admitting it. Have fun in that cesspool of a conference you call home now, those home games against ECU must be just much fun.

I don't live in Philly my good man! I just hope no other Big East games will be cancelled on Saturday though because where I do live I'll most likely be snowed in as well so hoping the other 4 games are still played so I can watch those.
