Get Chef the ball more, it should be a priority to get him 12-15 shots a game. If they double down on him, then fine, wide open 3's no one's got a problem with. Dibble drive to the hoop as well, get to the foul line. Settling for a semi open 3 less than 10 seconds into the shot clock is a different story. Also rebounding has to improve as well.

Again, I don't mind losing 5-7 games this regular season if they learn some lessons and it means a deep run in March.

I agree this game was very similar to NC State in that they couldn't his anything from outside better to have it in OOC then in the tournament so they can make adjustments. Nova is going to have a significant drop in the ratings though

IMO the only thing that hurts with this is chances of getting a 1 seed maybe. And maybe they'll start to shoot a few fewer 3's.

Villanova fell from 1 to 5 in the KenPom ratings. The Big East retained the 3 spot.

I don't really care all that much for rankings this season, or really BE titles. They would be nice, but this year is all about March. I'll gladly take a 25-8 record into the dance if it meant an E8 appearance.

4 for 32 from three. Ugh. I hope Jay takes this loss seriously and realizes that 3 pt shooting should be one offensive tool not the entire strategy. Embarrassing

Oh goody, we get to play Oklahoma at their place in 12 days. May have to cover the eyes for that one. I don't think Nova plays that bad again. Seemed like everyone was out of sync.

yeah. The Citadel and E Washington are the only 2 teams that have shot a greater percentage of 3's in the entire country for the season. 50.4%.

OU was 14/26 from 3.

I'm really enjoying Oregon and Navy in the Pearl Harbor Invitational. Great production on FS1! The way they have honored the men who served this great country!

Villanova Basketball.....We Live By The Three, We Die By The Three. As long as Jay Wright is coach nothing will change. We hit our 3-pointers, we look unstoppable and Jay Wright looks like a basketball genius. We miss the way we did tonight, Jay Wright's lack of X's and O's on offense is exposed for the World to see. Been like this for years. Nothing new here. It will be the reason we keep on seeing good, talented teams make early exits from the tournament as well.
