Peak's hesitation to foul at the end cost them 3 seconds. Of course you never know if things play out the same and the kid misses both ft at the other end, but I would think having 9 seconds instead of just 6 seconds on that final okay would have been preferred

I think that goes to the whole lack of urgency in crunch time with gtown. Just a real mellow mood attitude.

Akron is a decent team, and nova has been starting slow. This game could be close for a little while.

Josh hart time in philly

Mikal Bridges should be on the all freshman team this year. He's looking solid out there. He is good for the front man in the diamond press.

Nove trailed with just a couple of minutes to play in the 1st half, but had a nice run at the end to take a 38-31 lead at the break.

Their opponent was Georgia ST though. Yes big win because of the stage but.

Most of that imo comes down to scheduling though. I think it's hard for them to get certain teams to play them and I'll leave it at that

Georgetown played great and will get an NCAA bid in March.

Grayson Allen should've been T'ed up for shoving peak into the hoop stanchion. The refs reviewed it too. I mean wtf?

Not that i would condone this, and not to sound like an old crag, but the Ewing era Hoyas wouldn't have let Allen's sneaky cheapshot go without cracking some ribs. Out of fear of getting belted and a broken nose or cracked skull, Allen wouldn't have been able to drive the lane a minute later for a layup. Not that i condone any Michael Graham type behavior. Just an observation.

Vitale was a complete Duke homer. Another reminder of how great Fox Sports has been. The Big East made the guy's career too. Shocking how far in the bag he is for Duke and the ACC. This would be like if Rafferty just openly rooting for Duke... wouldn't you wonder wtf happened to the guy?

Amirite or amirite?!
