Slimy as he is, Sampson's a good coach. Can Houston keep him long enough to really reestablish their program? When you've been down like they have, you really need to string a few really good years together, to establish yourself as a serious option among the local talent base. High school kids usually will only have been paying attention for 4-5 years, so if you can put together a 3-4 year run of good teams, it will be like you were always good to them. Sampson's options at the college level may not be that great. The schools that are clearly a better spot than Houston may not want to touch him. He's been in the NBA as an assistant though, and that may be where he could have some options if he's really successful at Houston.

Does the AAC realize the goal is to get as many teams in the tournament as possible?

Loyola is beating Wichita 46-41 with 10 minutes to go.... Would Wichita get in with this loss(to the #240 rpi team)?

looks like Wichita will survive. They should be pretty close to safe now, despite what Palm thinks of them.... Helps the Hall.....

ok upset of the year....

Rutgers is beating Minnesota 17-2 8 minutes into the game. I did not know that was humanly possible for Rutgers to be up on anyone by 15 points.......

How about 40-15 now.... . Pitino shouldn't be allowed to get back on the plane. That's embarrassing.

Btw, bubble teams Ohio State and Vanderbilt going down.....

Kentucky beating the doors off of LSU....

Great day for some bubble teams- Ohio St, Vandy, and LSU going down. Ohio St and LSU are 2 of Lunardi's 1st 4 teams out. So 1st 4 teams out with Lunardi now- Gonzaga, Tulsa, Alabama, and Florida(assuming Alabama and Florida move up automatically).
