The VCU/GW game on Saturday may be an elimination game now quite frankly.

So the Bearcats best wins OOC are VCU and GW. Two teams that frankly might not make the tourney. That is OK if you are in a power conference with several other solid tourney teams that you have a chance to knock off, but not when you are in the 8th best conference... When grouped with a bunch of other bubble teams (Temple, Tulsa, UCONN, etc) that have done very little themselves OOC, you need to win your league convincingly. They are not even the tallest midget in that conf and that seldom gets rewarded by the Committee. RPI well north of 50 to boot. I'd be very worried if I were them.

RPI well north of 50? 59 isn't well north of 50. It's also 5 spots better than Butler. And RPI is getting de-emphasized quite a bit. Their KP right now? 28.

Just stop with your crap that the AAC has done very little OOC.
UConn beat 4 top 100 teams OOC. They had the #54 OOC RPI.
Tulsa beat Wichita St OOC. If you say that's not good, than Seton Hall is in the exact same boat.
Cincy will have the winner of VCU/GW that is in the tourney.

I know you want the AAC to have 1 team in the tourney, but that's just not realistic. UConn and Tulsa if they can avoid the bad losses now are pretty close to locks. And Cincy probably just needs to beat SMU at home to get in now.

And you guys talk how I always bring the AAC up. Well, the post from billyjack was about VCU. I bring up that the game now with GW/VCU is now probably an elimination game. Then YOU bring up the AAC.

a dreadful loss. probably needs to make the tourney final now to have any shot. even there, probably not even enough.

Serious question for you. 1-9 what do you see the seeds looking like for the AAC tournament, and how does the bracket set up go since there's only 9 team?

here's the thing even with Tulsa. Their RPI even after the loss today is 41. KP is still 43.

Pitt beat Duke by 12 today, which probably gets them a bid. I swear Coach K let's ACC bubble teams win games each year in late season.

edit: i just checked and Coach K hasnt done this in a while.
