If not for some timely defensive stops in the final minutes, making your free throws at the end of the game, winning a few more 50/50 hustle plays, and Spellman finally showing flashes of what made him such a highly rated recruit, this could have been a 37 point barn burner vs a nervy 47 point win.

And one commentator keeps justifying and defending these refs, "well with the new rules, this is how they are going to call it". That's BS. They called 59 fouls.
Depauls kids played their hearts out, and are definitely a better team then they were last year.
Congrats to the Friars. Saint Louis is a much improved squad that are considered a possible tourney team. And the Friars EASILY manhandled/destroyed them. That could definitely prove to be a quality win. A quote from the ESPN preseason A-10 rankings, "Saint Louis will have massively improved talent".
And finally, Villanova vs Lafayette. Definitely a wake up call for the Wildcats. If not for some timely defensive stops in the final minutes, making your free throws at the end of the game, winning a few more 50/50 hustle plays, and Spellman finally showing flashes of what made him such a highly rated recruit, this could have been a 37 point barn burner vs a nervy 47 point win.

Dude, that was funny. Well said. Over Thanksgiving we will get a look at what this nova team can be. After Western Kentucky, they will play either Purdue or Tenn and then either Arizona or NC State in Atlantis. Dont think they win them all and purdue is very good and experienced even before a shot at Arizona...
