Hmmmm....I was just thinking the opposite, as in how is Oregon rated so high. They stink.

Aren't you supposed to be a Georgetown fan? Why not just be happy your team is crushing a ranked team at the half?

SJU plays MSU on Wednesday, who has struggled but is ranked. If we win that game the last thing on my mind will be what the talking heads are saying.

We know what Georgetown is, they are a very inconsistent but capable team. Take whatever you can get and hope they can play with consistency moving forward (starting with this second half).

I guess he's always looking for the other shoe to drop.

A team like Oregon is capable of beating themselves, although they've been steady recently, and probably will end up having a good season. Teams like Michigan State (though, they're currently struggling) and Wisconsin generally won't beat themselves. So, I guess that is where stever is coming from, based on his quote.

You always have a couple preseason ranked teams that end up stinking. So far, during this early juncture of the season, I'd say Oregon stinks. They could very well turn it around later in the season, but they could also be one of those teams who fall well short of their lofty preseason ranking.

They'll be a different team when Brooks is healthy

I still don't buy he's a Georgetown fan and is rather looking to be negative lol.

Georgetown is absolutely falling apart right now, which is why I said any true Georgetown fan should be thankful for the performance rather than thinking of perception.

I mean they have the vast majority of their team back from a team that was a 1 seed, plus Ennis who I think most Big East fans know is pretty solid. I guess it's possible they 'stink' but I think it's more likely they will be a top 10 team

I just tuned back in. 14-2 run by the Ducks. If they take a lead, then it could be psychological on the Hoyas.

Who here agrees with me that shooting 6% in the second half through the first almost 9 minutes is quite possibly problematic. What on God's earth is Georgetown doing!
