Big East is pretty midmajor in all sports except basketball and soccer. Good news is no one cares about any sport except football and basketball.

Big East is pretty midmajor in all sports except basketball and soccer. Good news is no one cares about any sport except football and basketball.

We do alright in lacrosse too. Won the national championship last year (Denver, affiliate member). PC won a hockey title last year (although we don't sponsor hockey). I feel like some team won a title in track/field also (might have been PC or Georgetown).

EDIT: PC won a women's cross country title in 2013, Nova won it in 2010, Georgetown in 2011.

The league is not nearly as good in women's hoops. It's pretty clearly a mid major in that particular sport.

True, and frankly three bids is doing better than I thought our women's basketball was.

Plus 3 in the WNIT (Georgetown, Nova and Creighton) Not bad. 6 out of 10 in postseason
