espn drives me nuts. They put out this little blurb- "Xavier saw its chance at a No. 1 seed disappear with Sunday's road loss, but a desperate Seton Hall squad may have punched its ticket to the NCAA tournament."

Are you telling me that if X beats Creighton and then wins the BEast tourney and are 29-4 that they're not going to be a 1 seed? If Oklahoma or UNC lost on the road to a 21-7 team, they'd actually move up in the rankings and be considered locks for 1 seeds. Whatever, I know it's expected, but it just pisses me off.

No they don't, what they have to do is get at least 1 win this week, either SH or Marq. That would make 20-10 (9-9) that's probably good enough, but a win over Seton Hall would all most certainly punches their ticket. Let's see if the Pirates can avoid a letdown game after such a big win.

a home loss to Seton Hall would get their RPI down to 60-65, and would hurt their KP rating as well(right now 38).. To me, they either need a win over Seton Hall, OR wins over Marquette and QF in BET(would also be vs Seton Hall almost surely in the 3/6 game). The Marquette win at home wouldn't be a big help at all. I know before yesterday Lunardi said he thought they needed 3 wins including the BET.
