Guys, let all the "experts" here decide the Friars fate, stay out of it. Every year so far they have underrated us, I tried to warn them about this year but I don't think they will ever learn. I think Ball is a good representative of the over all predictive capabilities of the rest of the "experts on this board.

I'm not hating on PC- love Ed Cooley. But laying an egg in the NCAA tournament the past couple of years might be the cause for the Friars being underrated the following season.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

I think the BE has gotten better every year. So hopefully next year continues that trend.

11 seed PC took 6 seed UNC down to the wire and lost by 2 with a 6 man rotation. Wouldn't call that laying an egg.

Last year we laid an egg as a 6 seed against Dayton which was a home game for them. Poor showing by the Friars.

You guys didn't exactly light the post season on fire with the NCAA player of the year in 2014 - in both the BET (cough, cough, PC) and the as a 3 seed in the NCAA. Do you underrate Creighton every year now?

I underrate Creighton because of they finished last in the league the previous season. 10th out of 10 teams.

That is correct but losing Dunham and Jones is gonna be hard to overcome. They are gonna take a step back next year IMO.

I was going to explain that you don't know wtf you are talking about, but others beat me to it. I'll just say obviously another "expert" has been heard from.

They do. Probably the best class in Butler's history (on paper). As Jet stated though, they'll be losing Dunham and Jones, and while GW transfer Kethan Savage will pick up some of the scoring load and I'm sure Kelan Martin's average will go up, behind their probable starting 5 which at least to begin next year will be all Juniors and Seniors, they're going to be really young. I think if Butler can follow the 2016 class up with a similar one in 2017 in terms of ability, then I think the 2017-18 campaign is where we'll (hopefully in my case) see Butler make some noise during league play.

Davis, Macura, Bluiett, London, O'Mara, Larry Austin Jr and Gates. We get Rashid Gaston for 1 yr. who averaged 16.5 ppg last yr., Quentin Goodin, PG, a potential mr. basketball in KY., F Eddie Ekiyor and PF Trique Jones, all excellent additions. Lot of shooters and rebounders and leadership. Should be a good year.

Wait...Miles Davis is still eligible next year? I thought the guy was pushing 30! hahaha Seems like he's been at X forever!
