Thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family and Butler community. I don't often read personal sports players' stories, but I always remember reading this piece on Andrew Smith last March on CBS. Sent tears down my face at all he had to go through to survive. He was a fighter and will always be remembered as a great human being.

ESPN's Mike and Mike mentioned it this morning. Very nicely done by them. They were like stories like this is why we do so much for the cause(which they truly do if you listen to them thru the years).

There haven't been any announcements about that, but I'd probably suggest the church where his funeral will be held where his family have been lifelong members: Traders Point Christian Church of Zionsville, IN.

Very touching to hear that Big East schools will be doing a moment of silence before games this week. The outpouring of support has been amazing. Drew was a good one and he'll be missed.
