UGH. Still can't stand X but we've got to tip our cap to them. Awesome team that will go far in the tournament. Hopefully we can meet again some day. Congrats.

I will admit I was pulling slightly for Dayton since so much of my family went there, but man Xavier is really good. I only saw the second half and was really impressed. The scary part is Dayton will be really good too. Villanova may have competition at the top.

Little Brother fall down and go BOOM!

Here's the truly funny thing about that game: most UDump fans were overly confident about their chances. I had us winning by 10 due to the early season factor, neutral court business and Archie (I give him credit for being a good coach). They simply have no clue when it comes to the talent gap between the Big East and the A10.

As has already been stated here, this should help clear them out of here for a long while.

Xavier looked unbeatable today. Maybe we've all been too quick to annoint Nova the cream of the crop in the BE. That game is one I'm already looking forward to.

You've always come across as a Dayton fan to me, now I'm curious who your team is.

X is a legit top 15 team, by the eye test I think they're top 10. I think Dayton has been overrated by some A10 fans, don't think that beat down of Alabama was too impressive. UD still pretty good.

Let's not go overboard. The talent gap is huge (especially at the bottom). But UD has shown they are a good team. We
lost our best returning player but we've shown we can also play well on a big stage like so many of your league's own teams. Our freshman are not yet ready for prime time it's was made clear tonight but don't expect us to fade away.

But taking nothing away from the high caliber of X and the same for the BE. Great team and great league.

Waaaaiiiittttt a minute there fella... Have you been drinking with gtmo? Questioning the consensus preseason rankings (both here and at Bigeast.com) is not allowed. If you must begin to 2nd guess...do it on the A-10 board, that way you won't get into any trouble. X Does look really good though. ;)

Circle your calendar for 31 Dec 2015 (X @ 'Nova) and 02 Jan 2016 ('Nova @ Crei)... we will find out just who is who soon enough. This is gonna be such a fun year of college hoops. Go Big East!

Xavier beat UD by 29 points. I otherwise commented on the clear talent gap that exists between Xavier and UD. Those two things are fact. I don't believe I went overboard at all. One of our freshman - Edmund Sumner - won the MVP award, and we mostly had sophomores and juniors on the floor to go along with Farr and Davis and a few of the freshmen.

Your frame of reference comes from you being a fan of UD and by extension a supporter of the A10. I don't doubt that UD will rally and have a good year in the A10, because I do believe Archie has proven himself to be a good coach (which I've now acknowledged twice), but, frankly, I don't care. X finally won one of these November tournaments again and will improve upon its Top 25 ranking this week.

I have no real desire to pick at you over all this, because you're maintaining civility here, but I do take issue with your phrasing when it comes to having "lost our best returning player." He's under a suspension, as I understand it.

Otherwise, good luck to you moving forward.
