So Duke now has to beat a 4 and then a 4/8/15 seed to make the title game.

So the MAAC gets now 900k extra per year for the next 6 years thanks to this run.

UCLA beat Nova and they were the best team in the country.
Purdue beat Nova and now they were the best team in the country.
Baylor beat Nova and they're also the best team in the country.
I'm saddened that we can't avenge any of those losses this season.

So since 1985, a short 37 years ago, i've been rooting to keep the Big East as the only conference to have sent 3 teams to the Final Four.

I hate to feel like the weird 72 Dolphins, who break open champagne each year.

But the ACC will have a chance this weekend. I mean, it *is* completely different, cuz the 1985 Big East had 9 teams, while the ACC has 15.

But i'd rather that it didn't happen of course. Plus i have no confidence in Bill Self after his win tonight.

Also, crazy that Miami of Fla just made their first Elite-8 in school history. Also, as usual, got to mention Jim Larranaga is a PC Friar, Class of 1971.
