Big East presidents meeting to discuss fall sports plans - stay tuned. Hopefully the Ivy League plan doesn’t freak any of our schools out.

Also, on the bright side, the entire state of Nebraska now has only 97 people hospitalized with Covid related illnesses. That is the lowest number since they started reporting.

Saw that junior colleges decided yesterday to have almost no competitive events for 2020, moving everything to 2021. Football practices this fall but games starting in late March, 2021. Basketball and volleyball starting after 1/1/21 with championships moved back to April. Adjustments to spring sport schedules.

gtmo, you certainly add to the enjoyment of this board.

Personally, although I am an Ohio State fan when it comes to football, living in the South, I tend to watch and monitor the actions of the SEC in order to get a feel for what might transpire from here. They are shooting for a 10-game (conference only) season. Specifically, that locks out Georgia versus Georgia Tech and Florida versus Florida State, as two examples of major games that will fall by the wayside this year.

I think it is safe to say that it is going to be a bizarre college football season, having no fans in the stands, or few of them in the stands. I wonder if marching bands will social distance. Crazy times.

I started this thread less than a month ago. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what the virus would become.

It's now been almost 9 months and I feel like things have never been worse. If you are bored, go back and read some of these threads and seeing how this developed into what it is now is truly astounding.

Well it’s “start of the season” week. And in news Scott Drew has C-19, and it’s looking like the preseason tourney with Baylor, ASU and BC might be cancelled. Yay! College Hoops 2020-21. Preseason top 3 and good chance the season will be a complete s-show. Awesome.
