On the 247 composite, which is what we've all used thru the years on these threads- he's currently #109.

He's #53 on rivals. If he wasn't an X recruit, stever would be pointing this out, but he hates all things Big East for whatever reasons.

*Xavier just lost their HC and Stever was arguing against the new HC's recruiting
Ok, so neither of those would be surprising, and the latter a bit concerning. But the full equation:
*Xavier lost their HC to Louisville, after coming off a 1 seed in 2018 and an Elite 8 in 2017
*Xavier isn't even the best team in the conference. That is Nova who just won 2 of the last 3 titles
*Xavier's new coach has a top 10 class in the country
*The argument is that he isn't recruiting five stars, which X has never done
Imagine that. That's reality.

I said it when Nova had the 30th ranked class and now that they’ve got back to back top 10 classes... recruiting classes and players can’t be judged until a couple of years later. A few cases in point: J Hart & M. Bridges were both 75Ish in their classes. One a lottery pick, the other a first rounder. D DiVencenzo (120ish) and D Hilliard (200+) both made it to the NBA. In the current Nova recruiting class many are saying Saddiq Bey (100+) might be the best of the bunch that includes 3 top 50 players.
Point is recruiting at X remains healthy. That’s what’s important in this debate. 3 years down the road all the X kids could pan out and the L’ville kids flop. Or visa versa. We’ll just have to wait and see. But there is NO denying that whether through new recruits or transfers the BE is getting a tremendous amount of talent year after year. How conveniently you forget that you predicted the football schools to slowly out-recruit and out-perform the BE schools. Didn’t happen. How about you own up to your piss-poor predictions from 5 years ago before rolling out new ones for the next 5.
