Also, wouldn't say at all that in football for Cincy, that the quality of opponents has dropped. The Big East football hadn't had a year like this year in the last 3 years of the Big East. Not even close. Remember there was a year where UConn won the conference unranked. look at this year for Cincy. They lost to Temple, Memphis, Houston, and USF. What loss there was a bad loss? The one to USF(only because of margin). None of the other losses hurt Cincy perception wise at all whatsoever. Why has Cincy lowered? Because Tuberville sucks as a coach. Big East Football=AAC Football.

Stever,
All of those losses were bad. The Bearcats were the prohibitive pre-season choice to win their Division championship and the AAC Conference Title game as well this past season! They did neither and found themselves with a final conference record exceeded by 5 other schools!!! Then, with their paltry regular season record just barely qualifying for bowl eligibility, they were thumped badly by San Diego State 42-7. It was a Bearcat and Tuberville disaster of a season!

Something bad happens in a program. Is it:
1. An AAC team: spin it in its best light possible
2. A Big East team: paint it as a disaster
3. Neither a Big East or AAC team: take it on a case by case basis, with the primary criteria being how the situation either helps the AAC or hurts the BE, even if it is only tangentially
