Well perhaps at some point here X will have one of those shiny other ones that PC has sitting in their trophy case. I don’t think it’ll be anytime soon but, like your Final 4 aspirations: maybe someday.

I used the google machine to try and get a picture of a regular season BE trophy and all it gives me is BET trophies. Seriously.

Big East is in good shape this year, Lunardi predicting 7 teams to dance. Xavier is really in good shape, great recruiting.

Regardless, until one of you other teams makes some noise in the dance, gotta take a step back and realize there is work to do. Mid-Major mentality BS time is over. This isn't the A-10 or the Horizon or whatever league Creighton used to be in. People quickly forget your team made the Sweet 16 and the sad fact is not many Big East teams besides Nova has done that recently. Villanova has been the only team getting it done in March and that goes for the old school Big East teams as well. St. John's doesn't have a single tournament win in 20 years. You wanna pound your chest for making the Sweet 16 once every 10 years, go ahead, but I'll say again, that is Mid-Major nonsense. Even in a DOWN year, Villanova, who despite winning the Big East tourney and regular season (AGAIN) had a pretty bad March, but if memory serves correct, I am pretty sure was the only Big East team to win one in the dance last year.

MID-MAJOR BS. ICE CREAM AND TROPHIES FOR EVERYONE! Pick it up in March and then we will talk. Work to do.
