BTW I don't even remember the last time Nova lost to DePaul.

You're fortunate in that respect. But thanks for reviving a long-suppressed memory.

Hopefully SHU doesn't follow that same gameplan. They have lately and it's been costing them. The Hall is nowhere near a good enough 3pt shooting team to take nearly 30 attempts per game, especially with Powell having been ice cold for a while now.

Aw c'mon Dash!

Hey, looking at maybe taking my first trip to Cintas Saturday.... If I show up at Dana's will I get the crap beat out of me? LOL, I'm an old man, don't need that!

Hell no you won't get the crap beat out of you at Dana's. If I were going to be there I would buy your rounds for you.

I was in the house the year I believe we both ended up as 1 Seeds and you guys came to town and COULD NOT MISS from behind the arc. It was a display to behold. Frustrating beyond belief, coming from all directions.

Seriously, if you make it to Cincinnati and you like neat little village-like pubs with great burgers, then go to Zip's Cafe in Mt. Lookout (https://www.zipscafe.com/) for excellent burgers (and Chili) before heading to Dana's for pre and post game beverages. Looking forward to your reviews of Zip's, Dana's and the Cintas Center if you make it.

Safe travels - always. Good luck to Nova - after Saturday.

thanks Dash, back at you. gotta convince the mrs... we just had our first Grandchild so..... lol.

I remember that game as well. Obviously, generational team for us. Between Spellman, Donte, Brunson and Bridges you guys were up against 4 pros... Don't know what their relationship is / was, but saw a funny one between JP and Bridges last year. On Macura's b-day, Bridges wished him a happy b-day with a pic of one of those 3's from above the top of the key. JP's head was at Bridges' naval. You guys had a fantastic team, just tough timing with what Jay had put together.

Good for you on the grandchild. I'm on #3, but they're in Boston and Philadelphia, so it's not a frequent visit thing on my end - - trying to bribe them with Florida weather now. You'll have a blast.

Yeah, believe me, once we were out of it, I was pulling for Nova hard and all the way. What a year. You have to imagine that some opposing players - who have a sense of humor - probably develop friendships at some level with other such players over time. Kind of a Magic and Larry Bird thing. Funny story about Bridges and JP.

Right.

Clearly, you are not a DePaul basketball fan.

Novachap...what Dash said.
Make those stops. Tell BJ at Dana's that Dash and Paulxu sent you. He'll take care of you.
Zips has been there since 1926. You'll really enjoy it.
But both you guys are behind the curve on grandkids.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Thanks Paulxu, If I do make it there, I will certainly mention you guys! Yeah, in terms of grandkids. We are late to the game. Our daughter waited until she was 33!

What is the Hall’s pregame routine? Might want to consider switching it up or you know show up for the first 10 min
