I’d love to have my Jays win but Marquette has had our number and frankly they’re probably the better team. Who cares. Gtmo told me:
Jays 82
Wojos 77
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

I'd be surprised if Malinowski hasn't taken the starting spot from Mac. Exactly what I figured the Hoyas needed.

Xavier hasn't had a losing conference record in over 35 years. Tough to rebuild from scratch in the Big East.

tough start for Marquette. They're going to need to start picking up a road win or two, or their resume is going to have some holes in it come selection time.

OMG. I had never seen the long pass thrown and not touched. Now seen it twice last month.

I don't know that he got it off....

wow from ESPN Stats and info-
-- Markus Howard is the only Division-I player with multiple career 50-point games over the last 20 seasons.
-- Markus Howard now has the top-four highest-scoring single-game outings in Marquette history.

Jays found a brand new way to lose a basketball game tonight... great game by Howard and Marquette, however this loss is all on the Jays and their horrible end of game execution - no excuse for losing tonight.

once again vegas proves they know what they're doing. they should get rid of NET, RPI and just let Vegas rank teams 1 thru 25.

you can't even blame Jays for poor execution. there really was nothing to execute. and then a prayer 3 from Houser.

Unbelievable game. Absolute shame a team had to lose. When these two teams shoot the ball this way, they can beat any team in the country. Period.

This was an instant classic. Great publicity for the Big East. Bluejays deserved this one. Marquette stole this one plain and simple. Take it and run.
