I don't see the connection. P5 doesn't work for basketball because there are six power conferences. The AAC is not one of them. Ergo, they are a mid major. One of the best mid majors along with A10 and WCC but mid major nonetheless. I have no trouble eating the cake that I have.

Show me 1 professional writer who calls Cincy a mid-major(no, not a blog writer from a Big East blog).
Beating Cincy this year frankly will mean way more than beating Colorado. Pretty much everyone knows it except for some Big East fans.
