Let's not act like JP was a criminal mastermind. He dropped trou in a bar. Stupid/sophmoric...absolutely. I don't think this will be adjudicated on national TV but he deserves some measure of discipline or punishment.

Myles seems like a dispute with his girlfriend that escalated to smashing her phone. No excuse and he probably deserves the spanking he is currently receiving from coach Mack and the school. I think this gets resolved and we see him on the court second semester.

These are two dumb acts, but in the grand scheme of things I don;t think either of these guys are approaching thug status.

You're right. They're gangsters.

"Just so physical" that's what B.E. was all about, if you couldn't take then you'd need to tranfer out to a finese conf.
I'd always prefer in your face, hard hitting BBall over the flashy bs. Refs need to let the boys play.

SJU's will take a major step forward this year, will they be all the back? Nah, but could see an NIT appearance this year.
After 8 wins and 1 BE win last year, that's a major improvement.
Yeah, patience sucks, I want 22 wins this year, be a top 10 team, and win the whole damn thing.
In reality, it just isn't gonna happen, but next year it could. Not saying winning the whole thing, but 22 wins and top10 is possible.
This year will be fun though.

Speaking of NYC style PGs, I'd love to see Lovett dominate right away just like Kenny Anderson did at Ga Tech.

The 3 to look at for for SJU is Fruedenberg (kid can shoot, pass, and drive.)
Ahmed (Think a Pinkston type.)
Lovett (Kid can pass, shoot, and damn he's quick.)

Most improved could be Mussini.

Lets get the season started baby. Show time.

Who do you think wins this year? Xavier's gangsters or Butler's angels?

Definitely not. We were the bad boys under Lavin for sure. Teams hated us. Got into fights against Notre Dame and Syracuse...got the reputation for being short-tempered and physical. Under Mullin though these kids seem to be confident but not cocky. Harrison is a fan favorite and really changed his attitude but at one point you thought he would attack a ref or another player he got so angry. Obekpa was amazing at blocking shots but always in trouble. Rysheed had the most disrespectful dunk ever against Nova...lost the game but totally posterized one of their players...worst I've seen. He also got arrested for attempted murder and is currently in jail. Sir Dominic Pointer was also known to have a short fuse and would not shy away from getting into altercations. The Lavin teams were very clear bad boys. I don't think we really have any "bad boy" teams this year.

I can see it regarding X. Since we started this thing I get the feeling they are tough, chippy, annoying and borderline dirty. I say they are certainly the bad boys of the BE. Yes I'm jealous.

I agree, the BE is absolutely nothing like it was when it started. 1st of all the refs wouldn't allow it and the kids are not as tough as they were. Plus the coaches like each other too much.
